On May 24th 2008, the Beury family received a Britax Regent from the foundation. This was a joint donation between the foundation and the memorial fund of David D Kulp III. Many thanks to Sara Longeberger, CPS Technician, for her time and expertise educating the family about installation and usage of this seat.
Sara talks about the experience:
" met with the Beury family this evening! The installation went great. We got an awesome tight installation in the center position with the lap belt only. It took us >5 minutes to install the top anchor kit.
Amanda Beury couldn't believe the size of the seat! She was amazed and absolutely loved it! I had plenty of time to review everything with Amanda. I ended up spending well over an hour with her. She was very receptive. She told me that her family members kept telling her to "just go to Wal-mart and buy a booster seat." I promised to get her a KDMF bumper sticker and brochures for her family members to read.
[Her daughter] said: "I like my new seat, I feel like a fast race car driver."
Thanks again,
Sara Longenberger"
