On March 8th, 2008, the Chandler family received a Britax Regent from the foundation. Many thanks to Angela Foster, CPS Technician for her time and expertise education the family on the installation and usage of this seat.
Ms. Foster talks about the experience:
"I installed the seat for Pam Chandler yesterday. She was very excited about it. I had absolutely no problems installing the seat. I instructed the parent on how to install the seat both with the long belt path as the child is 37lbs now and then how to use the short belt method later once she reached 40lbs.

Ms. Chandler talks about the experience:
"The installation went great. The seat fits well in my Explorer and it will not be moved until I get a new SUV. When I do get a new SUV, I will call Angela and have her install the same seat so I know it is right.
I am very thankful for this Foundation and I have been spreading the word to other mothers like myself. If had not been for Kyle's video, my daughter could have been in his situation. I am grateful for his mother being able to teach other mother's and father's of small children about her situation. She is a strong individual that has and will touch many lives of many people. Knowing that she will save lives of children is a gift from GOD!!!!
I am trying to figure out a way for me to come up with money each day so that I can get another seat just like the one you provided for my mother, because she has [my daughter] just as much as I do and her seat for [her] is for children under 40lbs. Thank you so much for helping us.
