On 31st October, the Acevedo family received a Britax Regent from the foundation for their son. Thank you to Susan Douglass of SAFE KIDS San Antonio, CPS Tech for her time and expertise educating the family on the installation and usage of this seat.
Mrs. Acevedo talks about this experience:
"Our family is so grateful to be a recipient of a Britax Regent ca rseat through the Kyle David Miller Foundation. On 10-31-2007, we had our car seat installed by the CPS technicians from Safe Kids Metro San Antonio at The University Hospital. They're very helpful and allowed me to assist with the installation,which was a great learning experience for me as well as my son. He was reminded from the technicians that he needed to keep his harness buckled at all times and understands the purpose and safety of the car seat. He knows that it is not JUST a car seat but a car seat that helps to keep him safe while driving. He was so EXCITED and LOVES his new car seat and after the installation was complete he was eager to help buckle himself in. Again, Thank You from the bottom of our hearts,
