We LOVE these carseats. Right out of the box, they were much more substantial than any of the others we tried. They are very secure in our van. They don't move around the seat. The plastic clips on the shoulder belts are comfortable for our kids and don't twist or get caught on clothes. It's easy to adjust the tension for different clothes. Our kids are comfortable in them, and their movement from side to side is one inch.
While we hope and advocate for the day when five point restraints become the gold standard that is built into each vehicle, I feel like this is as best as we can possibly get.
