The day I read about Kyle, my husband and I went out and bought the car seat you recommended for our grandson. The horror you experienced is something I hope no one else will have to go through. Thank you so much for honoring your son in this way. I think of Kyle often. I really do. Your family's story touched my life in so many ways.
I often take trips to College Station for my mom and sister live there. My heart skips an extra beat when I pass the street where the accident happened. There are so many things in life we don't understand. My grandson's sister was born with congenital CMV. My daughter caught a simple virus in her first trimester and the virus attacked Elise's brain. She will never progress past a 2 or 3 month old, and she will never walk or talk or even sit up. It is the death of a dream for this child whom you love so much. But her life has given us so many opportunities to share the love of God as well as the dangers of this nasty virus. What you do with your tragedy is your true measure.
