We received an application from a family with a heartbreaking story - on December 28th 2006, they lost their father in a car accident. Thankfully the children were not in the car at the time, however the car seats for the children were destroyed. We were able to supply two car seats to this family. Here is what Kiera has to say about her experience:
"I received the two car seats on Friday for my boys who are 5 and 6. I got the call to come and have them installed at our local State Police barracks and I can't tell you how excited I was. I didn't realize how wrong my previous car seats were installed until I saw the way they were PROPERLY installed. I doubt my children were safe at all prior to this appointment but now I have a better sense of security when I put my kids in the car.
I can't thank you enough for providing my children with these car seats that may one day be used to save their lives. You will always be at the top of my list of charitable organizations!
