Toni Girdlestone Perry - June 11th 1995 - May 15th 1999

Toni died in 1999 in Australia, when she was just 3 years and 11 months old. She was injured by her seat belt in a car accident. Our car had 5 people in it and everyone else walked away without injury, including Toni's 5 day old baby brother. Toni suffered chest injuries from her seat belt. She was in an ADULT seat belt in the rear seat of the car. We didn't know this was not safe for our child. We were ill-informed and the knowledge was not readily available for us as parents. I wanted to share our story so parents can be informed
