***Please note that Britax released new installation instructions for the Regent on 7/9/07. All seats manufactured 6/18/07 and later contain the new installation instructions. There is a retroactive effectiveness to seats manufactured 11/10/05 to 6/17/07. There is a free product update kit for these older seats available from Britax. Regent owners who have registered their seats with Britax will automatically receive the new kit. If you have not registered your Regent with Britax, please do so immediately and request the update kit.

The main points to take from this is that the recline bar MUST be used for ALL installations. Children 22lbs to 40lbs should have their seats installed using either LATCH using long belt path, or seatbelt using long belt path in conjunction with top tether. Children 40lbs to 80lbs should have their seat installed using the short belt that in conjunction with top tether.
