On January 22, 2007, the first car seat from the Kyle David Miller Foundation was received by the Barlow family! Both the family and the Car Seat Safety Technician who installed the new 5-point harness car seat were happy to talk about their experience:

I first want to say THANK YOU so much for the car seat! The installation went really well this afternoon. Brooke answered all my questions that I had for her and was very helpful to me. Once again thank-you so much for the car seat for [our son].

My experience with the Kyle David Miller Foundation was great! After receiving a call from the Foundation in regards to a family in my coverage area that needed a car seat, I was really excited that there are so many people willing to reach out to other families. The seat was shipped very quickly to Safe Kids. I called the family to tell them I had their seat and they picked up their seat today (1/22/07). When the family arrived to get their seat, I was able to talk to Deborah about how to use the seat and even assisted her in the installation of the seat into her vehicle. I have also visited the website and think that it is wonderful! I will definitely tell more families about the foundation!! Thanks for your efforts!!
