Christine W Brenner - Accountant
Christine Brenner - is from New York and currently lives in Long Beach, NY. She is a NYS certified public accountant, a wife and a full time working mother of one, Colin. Christine became interested in car seat safety when a friend sent her Kyle’s video and she learned that she had much to learn to keep her 10 month old son safe when traveling in the car. She knew that driving is the most dangerous thing that you do daily but wasn’t aware of the dangers of seat belt inertia, booster seats and improper car seat installation and use. Through the comments on the video and subsequently the information from the foundation’s website she educated herself. She forwarded that e-mail with Kyle’s video to her friends and family. She also made a donation to the foundation as a way of thanking Kyle and his family for helping her and her husband to keep their precious son safer. She now tells anyone she meets with young children about the safety benefits of a 5 point harness car seat instead of booster. She hopes she can do more in the future to get this information to more parents.

She has always been passionate about car seat safety, however, when she learned about Kyle it all changed. She felt that everything she knew was so dated and she had to know more. She also wanted to find out how to do for her family.
She extends her deepest thanks to the Kyle David Miller Foundation for our help to her family. We inspired her to get her CPST and help others. Kris says that there is no greater feeling than knowing that you helped a child ride safer and that you shared information with that parent that they may otherwise not know.
Her goal is to keep working as a CPST, and in the next couple of years to move up to a senior checker and hopefully one day she can become an instructor. She would love to not only help the parents and kids out there, but help educate others in doing this also. .

Courtney Weal - Advisory Child Passenger Safety Technician
Courtney Weal - is a full time working Mom of 2 children (Hannah 8 and Stella 3) and 3 step children. Courtney was so inspired by this foundation that she now has my 8 year old riding safely in a Regent. Hannah has always been concerned with motor vehicles and safety since the loss of her father in a motorcycle accident. Now that she is secured in her Regent, she says she is so happy. Since finding out about Kyle, Courtney has developed a passion in child passenger safety. She became a CPST in June 2007 shortly before the arrival of their Regent. She was so excited about taking the class that she did it all on my own. Everyone else in the class was sent to class because of their jobs and such, but she was proud to say in class thatsheI took a week off (using her vacation time) all in memory of Kyle and keeping children safe. She wanted to be an "expert." Since June, she has worked 4 car seat checks with the local Safe Kids Coalition and checked about 60 car seats. Each time she sends a family away safe it brings her such pleasure. Her 8 year old loves talking to her friends about safety in cars and she is very good at pointing out if someone isn't safe. She wants to be a CPST when she grows up too! .
